WHAT SHOULD REAL MADRID DO WITH BALE, ISCO, AND MARCELO?

What happens to Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marcelo? The trio certainly were not part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the 2021/22 season. What’s next for this trident following Zizou’s departure?

Bale, who has had a brilliant individual campaign with Tottenham Hotspur this season could possibly be part of the club’s plan if the new manager wants him. This is only possible if Real Madrid fail to sign Kylian Mbappe. The 31-year-old Welshman is certainly a better option than Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez, and Rodrygo from the right-wing after scoring 16 goals this season for Tottenham.

However, Gareth Bale has already made his decision on his future which will be revealed after the completion of the Euros. Bale might end up wanting to leave Real Madrid, however, he is on a contract until 2022 and the idea of playing his last season in white does not seem too bad.

Meanwhile, the likes of Isco and Marcelo are unlikely to have a future next season at the club. The duo have been sub-par this season whenever given the opportunity and are now nearing the end of their Real Madrid career. Whether or not, the new manager has them in his plans, Real Madrid will offload the pair over the summer for the right sum.
