Luka Modric:

The Midfield Maestro has been an absolute standout for Real Madrid. He has stepped up on every occasion. There are no words to describe how well he has performed for the club. He has been very impactful in the midfield.

According to WhoScored.com, he has scored 5 goals and assisted 3 in LaLiga this season averaging 1.1 Tackles and 1.4 Key Passes per game. He has also scored a goal and assisted 3 in the UCL. Modric has been awarded a total of 5 WhoScored Man of the Match awards for Real Madrid this past season.

Luka has filled every game with energy and has proved to us that the 35-year-old is still a world-class player. The recent contract extension tells us that he still has a lot of football left in his legs.

Although we had seen some moments where the midfielder ran out of gas due to all the minutes he had to play, with the Croatian getting some rest these days we can say that he is going to rock the midfield in the Euros. I fully expect the Ballon d’Or winner to lead his team to great heights, just like in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
