Eden Hazard:

Of course, we all will have our eyes on him. And why not? Another terrible injury-ridden season for the winger. With Zinedine Zidane leaving Real Madrid and rumors that Real Madrid will listen to offers for Eden Hazard if they seem good, there would be no one to protect Hazard from the criticism that he’ll face. So, maybe it is time for him to show the world that he is still that old Hazard the Chelsea fans used to worship.

When Hazard came back from the injury, he looked very sharp. His quick turns, passing, skills, and confidence with the ball made us believe that the old Hazard was on his way back. I believe his recent claims about the players intentionally aiming for his ankles to be true, and so Zidane did too. And Hazard isn’t wrong. It has been this way since Meunier’s tackle on him. Even though that tackle seemed to be an accident, these tackles don’t.

As the statistics say, Hazard was on the pitch for only 20 minutes in his last league match, but he was the most fouled player, and the stats don’t lie. We have seen him constantly conceding fouls with the number of tackles made on him.

Jose Mourinho predicted his current injury crisis six years ago when he was the Chelsea coach.

Although he has been better physically lately, he will have to be careful with his ankles. I still believe that he will be an integral part of the squad next season. So, let’s hope that he remains fit and we get to watch him play at his best again.
