Real Madrid: Predicting transfer fees for every possible summer 2021 sale
MARCELO
Marcelo’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain and there’s no reliable information yet on his future. The Brazilian did state that he will announce details on his future soon but as of now, it’s just speculation.
With that being said, there’s a real possibility that Marcelo will be offloaded. The left-back has fallen down the pecking order and has now lost his place to the promising Miguel Gutierrez who has proved his worth to displace the Brazilian in the last few fixtures of last season.
Marcelo is also on the back of an expiring contract which gives Real Madrid lesser room to negotiate a better deal with an interested suitor. Los Blancos could consider offloading the Brazilian for an insignificant amount that is if any offer arrives on the table. This is assumption is based on Marcelo’s rapid decline over the years, his age, and also his injuries.
Verdict- can be sold for less than 10 million
ALVARO ODRIZOLA
Now let’s talk about Alvaro Odriozola. The 25-year-old has struggled to find his best form at Real Madrid since signing in 2018 from Real Sociedad. However, the Spaniard received a considerable amount of minutes this season after Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez were ruled out with injuries. But he did not seem to take his chances and was rather inconsistent with his performances.
If Carvajal stays fit next season coupled with Vazquez’s extension then there’s little hope for Odriozola to receive any significant game time. With that being said, Real Madrid could look to sell the 25-year-old this summer.
Alvaro Odrizola could be sold for as little as 15-20 million euros. The right-back has not played much since 2018 and most teams would not want to overpay for a player who has not received much continuity.
Verdict- can be sold for 15-20 million euros
