LUKA JOVIC

Let’s start with Luka Jovic. The 23-year-old has struggled since signing for Real Madrid in 2019 for 60 million euros. His loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt this season has not been very impressive either, as he struggled to get minutes ahead of Andre Silva.  Jovic has returned to Madrid but the Serbian will face the same issue as it’s practically impossible to bench Karim Benzema given the form he’s been in the past three seasons.

With that being said, Real Madrid will certainly listen to offers for Jovic. He’s amongst one of the highest-paid players and selling him could free up a considerable amount on the payroll. Los Blancos could consider parting ways with the promising striker for 40 million euros. It’s unlikely that Real Madrid can receive a better offer due to Jovic’s lack of involvement in the past two seasons.

Verdict- can be sold for 40 million euros

GARETH BALE

Gareth Bale, the final player on this list. Selling Bale is as difficult as selling Eden Hazard. Both these players have become immoveable signings that simply cannot be offloaded. The 31-year-old is on a contract until 2022 and is part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plan, however, Real will look to offload him due to his humongous wages. However, it certainly won’t be an easy task.

There’s no club in the world that would want to offer Bale a contract with the wages that currently earns at the Spanish capital. It is also unlikely that Gareth would accept a pay cut and sign for another club after his agent’s statements in the past in relation to warming the bench and receiving his salary. In my opinion, Real Madrid will not be able to sell Gareth Bale and the only possible option is to terminate his contract and clear off his remaining wages until 2022.

Verdict- will be too difficult to sell at any price
