MARIANO

Mariano Diaz is a striker that can easily score 15 goals a season if he played for a mid-table team. The 27-year-old is better than an average decent striker but is not yet up to the mark to play for Real Madrid. His goal-scoring quality was seen during his single-season stay at Lyon where he was firing all cylinders.

However, at the Spanish capital, Marino has no future. The club has attempted of selling the striker in the past but he’s rejected offers due to the comparatively lower wages being offered. With two seasons remaining on his contract, Los Blancos will look to get the 27-year-old off their books this summer. A transfer fee between 10-15 million euros would be a favourable offer, however, on a realistic note, most clubs would not offer more than 10 million.

Verdict- can be sold for less than 10 million euros

MARCO ASENSIO

Marco Asensio has had yet another sub-par season. The Spanish winger has not been the same since his first two seasons at Real Madrid where he was absolutely sublime. In the 2020-21 campaign, the 25-year-old has been rather inconsistent and only had a short run of form which withered away quite quickly too.

His ineffectiveness in the final third is a cause for concern and Real Madrid could look to offload the Spanish international this summer. Given Asensio’s performance this season, a realistic offer would be anywhere near 20-25 million euros since he’s still young and has time on his side to revive his career.

Verdict- can be sold for 20-25 million euros
