It’s not the price tag that’s the issue but selling a youngster with so much potential to an arch rival is shocking, to say the least.

The repercussions of this transfer were seen this season as Llorente played a key role in guiding Atletico Madrid to the La Liga title ahead of Real Madrid. Apart from that, 26-year-old is such a versatile player as he can play as a midfielder, right-back, and even just behind the striker.
He’s just the kind of player Los Blancos required last season during the injury crisis. He would have been the perfect cover for Casemiro had Zidane decided to keep hold of him. This was one bad transfer made by Real Madrid.
