Paris Saint-Germain are working in tandem with Kylian Mbappe’s recent statements on his future plans. After the rumours linking the 22-year-old to a move to Real Madrid this summer, PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi decided to clear the air with a bold statement.

“We will never sell him and he will never go for free,”- quote via Marca. To which Kylian Mbappe replied: “I’m at a place that I like, but is it the best place for me?” wondered Mbappe. “I still don’t have the answer”, quote via Marca.

So Nasser Al-Khelaifi has no intentions of parting ways with Mbappe, be it on a free transfer or even a 200 million euros deal. Meanwhile, Mbappe has played his cards strategically and in a safe manner. The 22-year-old wants his future at the best possible club with the best sporting project in place that will help achieve surreal heights.

In my last article, I analysed which club would be the better one for Mbappe. Los Blancos turned out to be the winners in that discussion, however, PSG’s recent activities in the transfer market could turn a new leaf.

Why should Real Madrid be worried about PSG’s latest transfer activities?

Paris Saint-Germain have taken the bull by its horn and are building an attractive sporting project to convince Kylian Mbappe to renew terms. They’ve already gotten down to serious business in the transfer market.

Earlier this year, Neymar Jr extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and now they have announced the signing of Georgino Wijnaldum from Liverpool on a free transfer and are have now signed another free agent Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan, according to Fabrizio Romano.

As per El Confidencial, Raphael Varane is expected to complete a move to PSG as well. Les Parisiens are now targeting Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi this summer to further build their sporting project. The Paris-based team are simply going all out.

It seems like PSG are going full throttle this summer to build an impressive project to present to Kylian Mbappe.

The Ligue 1 giants will certainly make more signings over the summer and are also linked with Cristiano Ronaldo who recently made a controversial statement on his future at Juventus. If Al-Khelaifi manages to sign Ronaldo as well this summer, Mbappe will certainly renew his stay for a season or two to play alongside his childhood idol.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are linked with absolutely no one apart from the 22-year-old. The only transfer activity has been the reappointment of Carlo Ancelotti. It seems like Los Blancos are pinning their hopes on Mbappe with no backup plan. On the flipside, PSG, are building a solid project that will be a success with or without Kylian Mbappe’s presence.
