FORWARDS

Carlo Ancelotti has a plethora of forwards to choose from. Let’s start with the strikers first. In terms of strikers, Karim Benzema will undoubtedly lead the race as the first-choice starter. Ancelotti will have Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz as his options from the bench. While Jovic is a promising talent to keep hold of, Real Madrid could be forced into selling him this summer due to his wages as they look to free up the payroll. The same can be said about Mariano Diaz.

Possible departures from the strikers- Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz or either one.

Wingers

Once again, a plethora of options for Carlo Ancelotti. Let’s have a look at all the options first of all on the wings. We have Brahim Diaz, Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes, Lucas Vazquez and Takefusa Kubo. Now that’s some list of talented players. But who stays and who leaves?

Let’s start with the obvious ones first, Brahim Diaz is most likely heading back to AC Milan on another loan and the same could be said about Takefusa Kubo who will be subsequently loaned out as well.

Now the doubtful ones. While Real Madrid should sell Marco Asensio this summer, it seems like Los Blancos might just hold onto him instead. Eden Hazard will also not be sold despite failing to live up to the expectations after two seasons at Real Madrid. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes will play important roles under Ancelotti after the Italian spoke highly about the Brazilian duo during his first press conference.

Gareth Bale has an uncertain future at the club as he may be sold if Kylian Mbappe is signed. However, Bale might also be kept if Mbappe does not arrive as Carlo Ancelotti has the utmost confidence in the Welsh winger.

Possible departures from the wings- Takefusa Kubo and Brahim Diaz on loan deals. Gareth Bale’s future remains uncertain
