1. Spain FW Ferran Torres

On number one, we have a solid bankable youngster who has maintained an overall rating of 7.1, per WhoScored in the tournament so far. Spain’s Ferran Torres makes this list at the very top because, in my opinion, he has what it takes to play for one of the best European clubs. He already plays for Manchester City and can be a great fit at Madrid too.

Spain’s tournament has been a little unusual. They misfired in their first two games and then brought out a vintage display against Slovakia, a 5-0 bashing. In the same game, Ferran Torres scored off his first touch of the match after coming on as a substitute. A game where he maintained a perfect 100% passing accuracy.

Torres hasn’t had much time on the pitch. He hasn’t played a full match yet and, in two, he appeared as a substitute clocking less than half an hour. But for a limited time, his stats have been amazing. He had registered five shots in the tournament so far, two of which were goals.

He was particularly on fire against Croatia in their first match of the knockouts. WhoScored even rated him a 9.05 for that match. He scored a fantastic goal to make in 3-1 for Spain and also had an assist to his name. He registered four key passes and one dribble while winning his side two freekicks in the same game.

His game has been top-notch passing-wise two. He has been attempting long balls and has completed one of them while registering four successfully completed crosses. On the defensive front, he has three tackles and three interceptions by his name. Now that is a serious all-around record for a forward.
