Real Madrid Transfers: Ranking the three golden options at signing Kylian Mbappe
2. WAIT UNTIL THE SUMMER OF 2022
This is another option that I am not too fond of but it is a certain possibility this summer. Paris Saint-Germain may not want to sell Mbappe in the summer despite his recent decision not to extend his stay. PSG may not take it as a threat and could keep hold of the 22-year-old for another season and re-negotiate terms with Mbappe.
While PSG will certainly look to impress Kylian Mbappe, in my opinion, that ship has sailed for Mbappe. He wants a move to Real Madrid and it looks quite obvious after snubbing a row of questions over his future.
If Mbappe does not come this summer, Real Madrid can wait it out until 2022 and sign him on a free. Until then, Carlo Ancelotti does not have that bad a squad if he incorporates some of the players well into the first team.
We have Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard who is looking sharper than ever. On top of that, there’s Luka Jovic on the bench who could be given a shot at redemption under Carlo. There’s talent at Real and it’s down to Ancelotti to come up with a system that can flourish and get the best out of the squad we have at the moment.
