Real Madrid have been linked with signing Kylian Mbappe for as long as recent memory suggests and they may get their man this time around.

With Kylian Mbappe having refused to renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, talks of his potential move to Real Madrid have started to expedite. In spite of turning down a new deal from the Parisians, the French marksman remains keen on staying at the Parc des Princes and will not create a ruckus in order to depart the club this summer.

However, there is more than just Mbappe involved in this. PSG will certainly not want to suffer a bumper windfall by losing him for free this year, instead of the supposed 150 million euros they will receive if they sell Mbappe this time around. Moreover, Real Madrid have to make a statement this summer especially if they let Manchester United’s target, Raphael Varane follow Sergio Ramos to the exit door.

Florentino Perez has called for calm over Mbappe’s acquisition and everything would suggest that the Whites will at least make a relenting push towards signing the World Cup winner. With that said, here is a look at the three reasons why there is an emerging air of imminency over Kylian Mbappe signing with the 13-time Champions League winners this summer.
