IT’S NOT YET ALL OVER FOR EDEN HAZARD

Eden Hazard has no doubts about his abilities on the ball and neither does any football fan around the world. However, like Hazard, every fan is worried about his frequent injuries. But against Portugal in the Round of 16, Madridista’s finally witness what a confident and somewhat 100% fit Eden Hazard can do.

He did not have the best first half against the Euro 2016 champions, however, the former Chelsea winger was lethal in the second half. He completed the most dribbles in the game (5), won four fouls for Belgium by drawing out defenders from their positions, and looked sharper than ever.

It may have not been his best-ever individual performance, but Hazard did look menacing when the ball was on his feet. It was certainly a confidence booster for the 30-year-old but Roberto Martinez should have taken him off a lot earlier.

The decision to keep him on until the 87th minute backfired after Eden Hazard was spotted holding his hamstring in discomfort and eventually missed the crucial fixture against Italy in the quarter-final. Nonetheless, Eden Hazard is far from over. He might have several issues in terms of fitness and injuries but his ability on the ball is still as good as ever.
