A PERIOD OF ADAPTATION FOR EDEN HAZARD

Eden Hazard had his moments of brilliance in the Euro 2020. Sadly, his campaign ended with an injury, however, it isn’t as worrying or serious as any of his previous ones. With that being said, Hazard is slowly finding his older self and it could be a long adaptation period for him to finally unleash his best form. Yes, it’s difficult being patient as Los Blancos paid 100 million euros for him. But there’s not much one can do about it now, we just need to be patient during this phase.

Eden Hazard will now return to Real Madrid and will be under Carlo Ancelotti. It’s a fresh start for him again and a chance to possibly revive his career. However, Ancelotti must use Hazard tactically by resting him against weaker oppositions and keeping him energised for the more important games. Something like how Zinedine Zidane used Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2016/17 season.

If Hazard manages to stay fit for a greater part of the 2021-22 season, one can be confident that we can see him put in his best performances. Until then, Hazard will need to adapt to a new system under Ancelotti while also adapting to Antonio Pintus’ demands during training sessions.

Exciting times await!
