Real Madrid have reappointed the man who led them to La Decima, Carlo Ancelotti. His reappointment has come at a point where Madrid finds itself in the doldrums. A trophyless season followed by Sergio Ramos’ departure and now Raphael Varane might be heading towards the exit door.

I’m not sure what’s going through Ancelotti’s mind but panic is a keyword that several Madridista’s around the world are feeling. It only gets worse by the day, with Marca’s Jose Felix Diaz reporting that Madrid will only go for Kylian Mbappe this summer and no one else despite possibly losing both their first-choice centre-backs.

However, Carlo Ancelotti will be receiving some support in the transfer market with seven loan players returning to the club to add some depth to the rooster. The returning players are- Brahim Diaz, Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale, Martin Odegaard, Luka Jovic, Takefusa Kubo, and Jesus Vallejo.

These seven footballers will momentarily be Real Madrid players before their futures are decided over the summer. Let’s have a look at what lies next for each of these players. First up on the list is Brahim Diaz!

BRAHIM DIAZ

Well, this one is already settled. As we all know, Brahim Diaz will be returning for a second spell at AC Milan following an impressive debut campaign. Sai Siddhartha wrote about how this deal is a win-win situation for all three parties involved, Real Madrid, Brahim, and AC Milan.

Having said that, Ancelotti will not have Brahim at his disposal for the 2021-22 season. All in all, we wish Brahim Diaz the best for his second season with AC Milan and hopefully, he returns to the Bernabeu in the following season. Milan does have an option to buy Brahim for 25 million euros but there’s a buyback clause for Madrid worth 30 million euros, as per Fabrizio Romano.
