Cristiano Ronaldo: Could a reunion be on the cards?

If you tell me that you do not miss Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence at Real Madrid, you’re probably lying to me and to yourself. Real Madrid have never looked this dull and poor while attacking. It all started after Ronaldo’s departure in 2018.

Now, let’s say in a hypothetical situation that Karim Benzema gets injured for a long period, what happens then? I don’t know how the team would be able to score without the Frenchman.

Let’s talk about Ronaldo for a minute, though. Despite being 36 years old he still scores more goals than the so-called “generational strikers” who are in their prime. That’s how effective he is and I don’t need to tell you how badly Real Madrid require a goal scorer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus will not be renewing terms with Ronaldo beyond 2022 due to financial reasons. With that being said, if Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe do not sign for Madrid in 2021 or 2022, re-signing Ronaldo could be our best shot at improving our attack.

Would you want to see Cristiano Ronaldo back at the Bernabeu for one last dance? Maybe he could be our missing piece to the puzzle of winning the Champions League again, after all.

What would be the best deal for Ronaldo? A reduced salary with a two-year contract or the same salary with a single year contract? Let us know your opinion in the comment section.
