The transfer window is now in full flow, the squad is gradually returning for preseason and in the club offices, there will be conversations about how they will tackle the window. Within those conversations, departures will be a topic of discussion. So with that in mind, we have taken a look at 5 players that should be moved from Real Madrid, simply because they do not offer what is expected at the club.

1. Isco:

Once upon a time, Isco seemed absolutely untouchable at Real Madrid, he was widely loved by fans and produced some brilliant displays of football. However, at this point, in 2021, Isco is a far-cry of that. The Spaniard has had a turbulent few years at the club of late, from his fallout under Solari to becoming a total passenger within the squad.

In fact, last season he failed to crack 1000 minutes in the league. For a player who was once seen as untouchable, that is quite the fall from grace. Perhaps more shockingly, that occurred under the coach who trusted him more than anyone else in Zinedine Zidane.

It seems at this point, Isco cannot offer Real what he once did. He has not made 20 plus appearances in LaLiga since the 2017/18 season. At the age of 29, he should be at the peak of his powers, but Los Blancos supporters have not seen a top performance from him in some time.

According to Transfermarkt, in 2018 he was valued at over €80 million, in 2021 that figure has fallen below €20 million. With his contract expiring next summer, it seems a separation is best for all involved whilst the club can recoup something from him.
