Jesus Vallejo was once seen as a highly rated prospect, however, in the time since his successful loan to Eintracht Frankfurt, he has completely failed to develop. Whether it be on-loan or at the club, he has not developed into the caliber of player Real require.

His loan spells at both Wolves and Granada in recent times were nothing short of disasters, with that in mind, it is abundantly clear that the Jesus Vallejo experiment has not and will not work.  Real have players in those positions that are better suited or seemingly have higher ceilings to contribute, take Victor Chust as a prime example of this.

Los Blancos are a club that want to contend for everything, they are a club with ambitions. Jesus Vallejo does not meet those ambitions, nor has he ever shown the capability of doing so. With options waiting in the wings with higher potential, Vallejo’s continued stay at the club becomes increasingly frustrating.

The club is in need of money through the pandemic, whilst Vallejo may not be a player who will bring the bank, he certainly is a liability that has little value. Real would be better suited taking what they can get for him, as opposed to keeping a player who is not what the club needs.
