3. AS Roma LB Leonardo Spinazzola

At number three we have a player who has been a household name for the regular Euro viewers. Leonardo Spinazzola has been one of the best players in the European Championships that was until he suffered an injury against Belgium in the quarterfinals and had to be stretchered off the pitch bringing curtains to his tournament.

The AS Roma man has ignited interest in the transfer market with an eye-catching overall performance at the Euros. He has been handy both defensive and offensively. Most importantly, his passing game has been top-class. He has been at it all, registering one assist, eight key passes, four crosses, and four long balls, per WhoScored.

Currently valued at 26 million euros, he would be an absolute steal for any club at that price. Though that number is subject to interest from other clubs, he would still be a brilliant option around the 30 million euros ballpark. His contract with Roma expires in 2024 and this could be a good time to make a move to a bigger club.

However, the only problem with realizing this transfer could be the over-crowding of the left-back position at Real Madrid. At this point, Marcelo, the newly appointed club captain, and the recent arrival, David Alaba are the prime candidates. Miguel Gutierrez has always been a quality option rotationally. But, that is not to negate the fact that only a few of Spinazzola’s quality could right now compete with him on the ‘bargain’ end of things, he, therefore, rightly commands a deserved spot on the list.
