1. Eder Militao:

The Brazilian international signed for Real Madrid in 2019 for a reported fee of €45m from Porto. It was said that Militao failed to meet the expectations of many Madrid fans as per his price tag, but the early judgment isn’t always right.

Yes, the first impression is very important but it isn’t the only impression. What we saw from him in the final stages of the last season is what we can call a typical Militao performance. His dominance in the air from set-pieces was a constant threat for the opposition and his defensive awareness told us all about the quality he possessed.

There is nothing more you could ask from a player like him than to play at such a high level at the young age of just 23 years. Even in the current Copa America competition, his consistent performances are a pleasure to the eye. Such performances are surely a confidence booster for him and that is what he needs at the moment to flourish into a world-class player.

Not only this, his playing style brings back the memories of our beloved former captain Sergio Ramos. Militao is sure of much importance to Real Madrid and we hope to see the best of him in the upcoming years.
