HAZARD WILL WIN AT LEAST ONE INDIVIDUAL AWARD NEXT SEASON
Eden Hazard was consistently nominated for awards in England and the rest of Europe during his time at Chelsea, but unsurprisingly, his lack of conviction on the pitch has meant that he has been unable to replicate individual success while at Real Madrid. But next season, particularly because of Ancelotti and Dupont, promises to be a turning point in the Belgian superstar’s career.
My final prediction of the three is that Hazard will win at least one individual award next season. Honestly, it is difficult to say whether it is a player of the month, goal of the month or annual award even before the team plays a single pre-season game, but what I have a gut feeling about is that Hazard will get his hands on at least one piece of individual accolade next year.
Having paid 160 million euros for him including variables, the former Lille ace will have all eyes on him to perform next season, especially considering that he has been free of any significant injury setbacks for over two months now. During these two months, Real Madrid as well as Belgium faced a demanding list of fixtures and Hazard coming out unscarred from those is a good sign.
