ERLING HAALAND- STRIKER

Real Madrid are expected to offer Karim Benzema a new contract, which will run until June 2023, but at the same time, they will be planning to replace him given that he is another one of the club’s most crucial players who is reaching the dusk of his career. What Benzema brings to the team is rare to find, so they may try to sign a fine goal-scorer instead in the shape of Erling Haaland.

Haaland is valued at 150 million euros by Borussia Dortmund, but his release clause of 75 million euros will come into activation next summer when there will undoubtedly be a line of clubs waiting to pounce on his services. The Norwegian will have to choose between money and sporting success, and if he chooses the latter, Real Madrid may well be the club meant for him.

Once he has some more years of experience and plays for a better team than his current one, Haaland is among the very few players who will be able to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo’s scoring figures. Los Blancos need that kind of a player and Florentino Perez will do all he can to form a dream attacking duo consisting of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland down the line, in the long run.
