2. AS Roma

AS Roma were one of the Italian teams that were convinced by the small cameos of Miguel at the end of the season. With Leonardo Spinazzola being injured in Italy’s match against Belgium, there is a pretty high chance that they will eye Miguel as a possible replacement for the Italian.

Moreover, they don’t have a backup for Spinazzola, and given that they will be playing in the UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League, the Italians would definitely need another left-back. With Jose Mourinho as the new coach, there’s a pretty fair chance that Roma would prefer Miguel.

Mourinho was once a Real Madrid coach and he has had good relations with some of Real Madrid’s academy products in the past. So, he could try and convince Real Madrid for a possible loan move. Plus, Miguel will get enough game time at the club which will be very useful for him to grow and his performances can help him get the recognition that he needs so that Real Madrid consider him as an option for the season after that.

Not only this, Spinazzola plays a more attacking role from the left flank which is pretty much the style Miguel prefers. So, Miguel would love a move to a club where he can settle as quickly as possible to make a mark.
