Real Madrid does not command the transfer market as aggressively as it once did. And in the process of this shift in attitude, the club has turned towards making smart investments in promising youngsters. Real Madrid has thus acquired a healthy resource of players under the 25 years age mark, some even sent away on loans. Here is a ranked list of the five best players in that category.

5. BRAHIM DIAZ

One of those rare two-footed wingers, Brahim Diaz is a young talent. At just 21 years of age, loaning him out to another club was the right choice to make. Real Madrid is a place of extreme pressure that can hamper the growth of players, especially the ones who need further polishing like Brahim Diaz.

He one of the few loanees who stood out in his loan spell. At AC Milan, he could register 35 appearances in all competitions while clocking 1600+ minutes on the pitch, something that he wouldn’t have found in Real Madrid. Of these 35 appearances, 19 were starts, per WhoScored. He could be called a key campaigner for the Rossoneri who could secure a Champions League spot by the end of the season.

It was the Spaniard’s sheer quality that compelled the Serie A outfit to pursue Real Madrid’s proud possession yet again. As my colleague, Sai writes, his loan agreement to AC Milan with a buy-back option for 30-31 million euros is a win-win for all parties involve. There is a reason why the club is keen on adding a buy-back clause and that is his quality.

Brahim Diaz is a promising two-footed winger whose brighter days are ahead of him. He is a hard worker and is very much capable of producing few moments of magic. In the game against Juventus that AC Milan won 3-0 for example, Brahim Diaz curled a perfect ball into the top corner of the net from a decent way out. It was a type of finish that one could watch over and over again.
