HARRY KANE – TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

According to Sky Sports, Harry Kane has once again informed Tottenham Hotspur of his decision to leave the club this summer transfer window. The England international is entering the prime years of his career and would be the ideal replacement for Karim Benzema.

Under Jose Mourinho’s short stint at Spurs, Kane developed into a complete striker by dropping deep and helping out the midfield in attacking transitions. One could say, that his style of play is similar to Karim Benzema.

The 27-year-old ended last season with the Premier League Golden Boot for scoring the most goals and the best playmaker award for the most assists. While Kane is certainly an excellent target for the summer, it is quite an unrealistic one as well.

For starters, Tottenham Hotspur will demand a minimum of 120 million euros for their striker. If Real Madric can afford to pay such a price tag then they might as well use that money to get Kylian Mbappe.  The second reason is that Harry Kane wants to continue in the Premier League and there is no space for him at Real Madrid because of Karim Benzema.

With that being said, Kane can be considered as a potential target later in the future if he remains at Tottenham Hotspur. However, if he does complete a switch this summer to any other club then he would most likely sign a long term deal.
