This summer window is going to be very exciting and uncertain. Many Real Madrid players find themselves with cloudy futures. Some will go out on loan, and some may get sold. The club needs these efforts to accommodate the expected big signing, Kylian Mbappe.

However, Mbappe’s arrival is not 100% sure, and Real Madrid ought to have a plan B if they fail to land the French youngster. As per the current scenario at the club, a goal-scoring winger is the prime requirement. But, last season also provided evidence of voids generating in other areas, like central defense, midfield, and striker positions.

With Ramos now gone and Varane reluctant to sign a new deal, defense is ever so slim. Core midfield is aging, and the young midfielders are not so proven. Also, there is no dependable backup to Benzema, someone who can come of the bench to finish off games.

Although keeping hope in players like Alaba, Jovic, and Odegaard seems like a captivating idea, recent history has provided more than enough instances where things can go wrong. The club placed even more hopes on Bale and Hazard and has paid its price.

Keeping this in mind, Real Madrid could dive into the market to find suitable players who can fill crucial voids. Here we look at transfer gambles that are worth taking for Real Madrid.
