3. Let the next generation of Real Madrid shine:

Real Madrid have got plenty of young and very capable players within their ranks. The likes of Ødegaard, Brahim, Blanco, Miguel and Arribas have all showcased they are very capable individuals. The issue is that some of them are being blocked out, when they should be given the keys.

A prime example of this has been the reported story surrounding Miguel Gutierrez and Marcelo.  There has been growing concern that the young Castilla graduate will be hard to keep and provide minutes for, as a result of the Brazilian. Whilst it is undoubted that Marcelo is a legend and the club captain, it is clear he will not play as much because of Ferland Mendy, and isn’t all that reliable as a bench option.

It is a similar story elsewhere with Brahim Diaz. The young Spaniard has shone on loan, but sees his route into the team clogged, with the likes of Bale, Asensio and Rodrygo. While Rodrygo, like Diaz is young, Asensio and Bale are not and have not been impressive in recent seasons. Bale’s loan at Spurs may have looked to show some quality, but there is no guarantee he returns to Madrid with the same fire. Asensio too, has long been a disappointment, particularly last season.

The club should crack down, remove the underperforming players and bank on these young stars who have the ability to really be the new wave that is so badly needed. Let the new era begin and let the old guard move on.
