GETTING THE BEST OUT OF GARETH BALE ONCE AGAIN

Gareth Bale was arguably one of the world’s best wingers under Carlo Ancelotti’s first stint at Real Madrid. Bale was the Italian’s marquee signing who arrived for a then-record transfer surpassing that of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Under Ancelotti, Bale displayed phenomenal quality – guiding Real Madrid to the Champions League and Copa del Rey in his debut season.

The Italian manager and the Welsh international have reunited once again and this could potentially be Bale’s last dance at the club since his contract runs out in 2022. The club will certainly not extend terms with 32-year-old next summer thus making this his final season at the Spanish capital.

The question is: Can Carlo Ancelotti get the best out of Gareth Bale? That’s a million-dollar question, however, the former Everton boss is confident in the left-footed winger and believes he could make the most out of Bale’s talent.

Last season, while on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, Gareth Bale scored 16 goals in all competitions. His statistics were better than every Los Blancos forward barring Karim Benzema.

With that being said, the Welshman is certainly an effective forward that can uplift Real Madrid’s attack alongside Benzema and Eden Hazard. Can Carlo Ancelotti unleash Gareth Bale’s best form once again?
