Real Madrid fans are having a downhearted transfer window, as they had to witness two club legends, Ramos and Varane, depart the club. These exits have left a big void in the defense. Now with an already floundering attack, the defense has become an issue too. In addition, the club is unlikely to sign a replacement for Varane.

Due to a weak backline, the team would have to score more goals to compensate, and that’s where the struggle begins. Real Madrid has been very stale offensively, and Benzema is the only reliable scorer. While they have an abundance of wingers, none of them have been at the level required to play for Real Madrid. That puts the club in an urgent situation to handle.

With all the financial problems the club is facing, they may not sign any players other than Mbappe. Although a generational talent, Mbappe may not be a quick solution. He will inevitably need some support from his fellow teammates. Further, it’s not 100% sure if Mbappe will join, and he may still decide to sign a new contract with PSG. In either case, Real Madrid could pursue a goal-scoring winger in this window or the near future.

Here we look at three goal-scoring wingers Real Madrid could target to enhance their attack.
