Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling has been one of the most promising players in the Premier League for the past few years. The Englishman has shown remarkable consistency and has been a pillar to City’s recent domestic successes.

Sterling has scored 78 goals in 195 appearances for Manchester City. That stat is enough to put him in the bracket of elite goal-scoring wingers. He was impressive in the Euros as well, as England won the runners-up spot in a great campaign. He scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist in the tournament.

Sterling had a relatively underwhelming campaign with City last season, as he was in and out of the squad. He reportedly feels unsettled and is also considered expendable by City, who may look for funds to get reported targets, Kane and Grealish. The fact that Sterling has just 2 years left in his deal also makes an approach by Real Madrid possible.

Raheem Sterling has all that it takes to be a starter for Real Madrid, and he would immediately end the goal-scoring issues at the club. If Real Madrid fails to land the long-term target Mbappe, Sterling should be on the top of the list for alternatives to the french superstar.
