Real Madrid are once again linked with re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus, with Paris Saint-Germain being tipped as a possible destination as well.

Ronaldo has been terrific for the Old Lady of Turin since his first season at the club but he has had effectively no support from the team around him. The board of directors have not made great signings either and it seems like Juve and Ronaldo are far away from winning the Champions League any time soon, which is the main reason why the Portuguese was signed by Juventus.

While Florentino Perez has all but ruled out the return for the club’s all-time top scorer on the pretext that it does not make sense for the club, he may be a solid option to pursue for more than one reason. Moreover, he is keen on leaving Juventus and is in his final year, which means that his acquisition in the ongoing transfer window will not cost Real Madrid an arm and a leg either.

Although Ronaldo left for more money by the looks of it three years ago, he has barely any bargaining power this summer and that puts Los Merengues in a brilliant position to get him for a discounted deal too. What are the three main reasons why Real Madrid must re-sign Ronaldo?
