HIS SIGNING COULD BE AFFORDABLE FOR REAL MADRID

While his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu currently is more unlikely than it is likely, Ronaldo will be a very economical option within himself and also with respect to the signings that the club makes going forward. The bottom line is that Ronaldo, despite his hopefulness of returning to his former club, will only sign if Los Merengues fail to land Kylian Mbappe during the ongoing month.

Ronaldo will be available for an average transfer fee, of perhaps 30 million euros or so. He will also need to take a pay cut to sign for the club and not receive any huge signing-on bonuses as he is likely to be handed a deal of just one year, which keeps renewing depending on his performances. This gears the club perfectly for acquiring Kylian Mbappe for free next year, Ronaldo being the bait.

Mbappe could be convinced about playing with his idol at the Bernabeu and that will nullify any potential competition for him and he could be signed for free instead of 150 million euros. The French international’s transfer fees will be saved and that will be a huge saving for Real Madrid, even if they manage to sign Ronaldo and by doing so, they effectively end up saving more money.
