Real Madrid have undergone a topsy-turvy summer transfer market so far. Los Blancos welcomed David Alaba from Bayern Munich on a free transfer while bidding farewell to two stalwarts in Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.

So far Alaba has been the only recruitment of the summer, while the focus remains on signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. Real Madrid is not expected to make any other signings as all the financial resources have been set aside to get Mbappe on board.

But before Los Blancos commence negotiations with PSG over the transfer of Mbappe, the club will look to sell or loan a few more players to raise funds/ lower the wages depending on the offer that arrives.

At one point, there was a report that Madrid are willing to part ways with almost every single player provided that a suitable offer was made. However, that is simply not possible as certain players cannot be sold under any circumstances.

Marca reports, five players from the senior team have been termed as untouchables while every other player faces an uncertain future at the Spanish capital.

Let’s have a look at the five players and what to do they offer to the team that Perez has deemed them as untouchables.

THIBAUT COURTOIS

Thibaut Courtois- the Belgian Wall of Real Madrid, is the first name on the list of untouchables. This is certainly not a surprise inclusion given how fundamental the former Chelsea man has been at Madrid over the past two seasons.

His debut was undoubtedly a nightmare that looked like there was no coming back from that. However, Courtois won everyone’s faith back with his performances in the 2019/20 season that guided Los Blancos to their 34th La Liga title. He was excellent last season as well and there is absolutely no doubt that his performances will remain at its best for the upcoming new season.

While Thibaut Courtois has booked his berth in the untouchable list, let’s look at the other candidates
