REAL MADRID SIGN A GALACTICO

Although it’s Kylian Mbappe or nothing for the board of directors, and Florentino Perez in particular, Real Madrid’s fanbase would accept a galactic signing even if the Frenchman does not sign for them this season – as sooner or later, there is an air of immanency about Mbappe’s arrival at the Bernabeu. Ronaldo and Haaland are undeniably great options to consider as well.

Mbappe has already told Paris Saint-Germain for a second time and personally so to Mauricio Pochettino, that he will not be renewing his deal at the Parc des Princes beyond 2022. If the Parisians are sensible about the matter and not rigid as they have been so far, they will prefer selling Mbappe this summer for 150 million euros than lose him for free next year.

Having said that, Kylian Mbappe or nothing is a wrong approach by the board and defensive options could also be considered. Chelsea were recently linked with Jules Kounde lately but have been hindered due to one reason or another, but Los Blancos can snap up the Frenchman.

Pau Torres is also not a bad option to consider given the season he had with Villarreal, winning the Europa League in the process.
