A FRESH CHANCE FOR THE FROZEN OUT PLAYERS

During Zinedine Zidane’s tenure, a set of Real Madrid players were frozen out and one could even say that they were treated harshly. The likes of Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Martin Odegaard, and Luka Jovic were the notable players who received the cold shoulder from the French manager.

With Carlo Ancelotti now at the dugout- the likes of Bale, Odegaard, and Jovic have been given a new lifeline in their career, especially Gareth Bale who shared a strained relationship with the former incumbent.

Bale, who is 33-years-old and is in the final year of his contract at Real Madrid, could potentially be a key player for Los Blancos in the new season. He had a stellar individual campaign with Tottenham Hotspur – scoring 16 goals in all competitions and could now be the driving force for Real’s frontline.

Meanwhile, Jovic and Odegaard face uncertain futures, however, if they both do stay, Ancelotti could provide them with chances off the bench and a few starts one and off. Both the players have immense talent and could possibly receive more game time under their new boss as compared to the time they receive under Zinedine Zidane.

That brings an end to my slideshow. Let me know what are you looking forward to ahead of the new season.
