Real Madrid: Ranking 5 superstar free agents Los Blancos can sign in 2022
ANDREA BELOTTI- TORINO
Andrea Belotti is yet another top player who will be available as a free agent next year. Belotti in my opinion is criminally underrated simply because he plays in the Serie A and for a team like Torino.
The 27-year-old has all it takes to be a success at any top club including Real Madrid. He’s strong, clinical with both feet, and is a threat in the air making him a complete target man in the box. Los Blancos could consider signing him next season to replace Luka Jovic if the Serbian departs.
Belotti could play second fiddle to Karim Benzema and can offer different attacking options when coming off the bench or even starting the game. Unlike Benzema who prefers dropping deep, Andrea Belotti thrives in physical battles in the final third and is a fox in the box. His potency in front of goal is incredible and he would be a fantastic deputy to Benzema.
But if we talk about the chances of Real Madrid signing the 27-year-old next season that it seems highly unlikely. The chances are slim or even next to impossible for Belotti to sign for Real Madrid. Florentino Perez once discussed the possibility of signing him with Torino’s president but those days are of the past.
Los Blancos would most likely either keep hold of Luka Jovic if he manages to perform this season. Erling Haaland is also another option that the club is looking into at the moment for the summer of 2022. With that being said, the likelihood of Real Madrid signing the Turin marksman next year seems to be out of the question.
