3. CRISTIANO RONALDO – JUVENTUS

Cristiano Ronaldo’s close friend and journalist at El Chiringuito TV Edu Aguirre has stated that Carlo Ancelotti wants Ronaldo back at Real Madrid. The Italian manager has reportedly spoken to the 36-year-old’s entourage over the past few weeks and is keen on having him back at the Spanish capital.

But Ancelotti has denied those rumours after taking to Twitter to clear the air. Cristiano Ronaldo hit back as well and has denied any possible move.

While CR7 seems to have written off a return, one could only hope that he comes back next season as a free agent. Ronaldo’s contract expires next year and there have been no talks of a potential renewal making him a free agent if he does not renew terms by the end of the season.

.At the moment, El Chiringuito Tv’s host Josep Pedrerol reports that Perez is completely focused on signing Kylian Mbappe and is currently not looking into the option of signing any other player.

Carlo Ancelotti wants to solve the goal-scoring issues at Real Madrid and possibly re-signing Ronaldo next season could be key in solving the issue. The 36-year-old enjoyed two phenomenal campaigns under Ancelotti as he transformed into a goal-scoring machine. He netted 110 times in just 100 games under the Italian during his first stint at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite catching up with age, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to deliver the goods on a day-to-day basis and is still an extremely consistent and reliable player. We could have a frontline of Ronaldo and Mbappe in 2022, although it’s highly unlikely, it would be an exciting duo to watch.
