Real Madrid: Possible Man Of The Match candidates against Real Betis

Gareth Bale:
The Welsh Dragon is here, again! In the past few years, we have seen some performances for which he deserves the highest of recognition. The goals against Barcelona in 2014 Copa Del Rey and against Liverpool in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final are more than worth watching.
Apart from this, his loan spell with Tottenham Hotspurs was a key factor in helping him fall in love with football again. This season too, he has looked in great shape. Right from the start of the preseason, he looked like the player we all fell in love with.
He was great in the game against Alaves where he fancied his chances with shots from distance. In the Levante game, he had a much different approach and ended up scoring his first goal of the season.
Even though he played well in both games, he was substituted around the 60’ mark. Believe it or not, it will be like this the whole season.
Gareth is an injury-prone player and maybe getting him substituted around the 60’ mark is part of Antonio Pintus’ plan to help the Welshman stay fit the whole season, and I guess the same goes for Eden Hazard.
What I can say at the moment is that he will be a key player in Ancelotti’s Real Madrid and is fairly a contender for the Man of The Match award.
