Real Madrid: Possible Man Of The Match candidates against Real Betis

Vinicius Junior:
I wanted to say this for a long time and with the level of his performances in the two matches, I think that maybe I can finally say this now. Vinicius has improved so much as compared to the last season that he can be used as an “impact sub”.
His pace, his skills, and now his finishing. If he can maintain this level of form for the rest of the season, Real would be one of the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League. Three goals in his last two matches have already made us believe that he’ll have a great season. Granted, it’s just the start of the season, but I’m very hopeful.
The Man of The Match award in the last game will surely act as a confidence booster. Many people were of the view that Vinicius Jr. should start the next game ahead of Eden Hazard, but I disagree. Eden has never been as comfortable on the pitch as he is now (since joining Real Madrid). He seems fit, physically and mentally strong, and pretty sharp too.
Moreover, Vinicius is more suitable for a substitute role. Even with Mbappe’s eventual signing (which is imminent at the moment), his importance for the team will not be shaken. The reason being that Mbappe, once he arrives will be the obvious starter at the Left-Wing position, while Hazard will take a more central role (as played by Isco at the moment).
He will still contribute a lot coming off the pitch and acting as a troublemaker for the opposition and is an obvious contender for the MOTM award.
