Real Madrid: 3 reasons why Eden Hazard to Juventus would be best for both parties
By Avi Nagar
Eden Hazard’s presence may hinder Vinicius and Rodrygo’s development
Mbappe’s arrival would make the winger count to as much as 6. The others being Bale, Hazard, Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Asensio. Mbappe would immediately occupy the starting position at left-wing. That means Hazard and Vinicius would have to compete for the backup slot. Ancelotti’s trust in veterans means Hazard could be ahead of Vinicius, making him the 3rd choice LW. That will hinder Vinicius’ development, who has had a scintillating start to the new campaign.
Also, reports are emerging that Real Madrid may loan out Rodrygo. That would be less practical, as Rodrygo occupies the RW position, which has only one other player, Gareth Bale, who as we well know, may not remain fit for long. Loaning Rodrygo out could be a blow to him, as it was expected to be finally the year when he shines. There is also the risk of the situation transforming into something similar to Martin Odegaard.
Selling the 20-year old should be avoided at all costs. This is because Rodrygo has immense qualities and is seen as the future of the club. Moreover, any sale at this time of the transfer window wouldn’t generate as much amount.
Keeping Hazard and compromising the youth development should not be an option for Real Madrid. Hence, selling or loaning out Hazard would be best for the young Brazilian duo.
All in all, Hazard’s move to Juventus could benefit all parties.
