1. Karim Benzema

And leading the line on number one, as always, is Real Madrid’s MVP of last season and the MVP so far, Karim Benzema. Benzema doesn’t need to be in good form. He doesn’t need things to be going his way. He is consistent all the time and he is the one that makes things happen for Real Madrid. King Karim has been involved in goal contributions in every single game so far.

He started the season with a brace against Alaves. Opened the scoring with a thunderous volley off an assist by Eden Hazard and then slotted home a chance created by Fede Valverde on the second attempt from a tough angle. Then, he took the pitch against Levante to have a brace of assists to his name. He assisted Gareth Bale for the opener and then later in the match for Vini’s second of the game and Madrid’s third.

Against Betis, it was once again Karim Benzema who made things happen for Real Madrid with his assist for Dani Carvajal’s winner in the second half. He has well and truly been involved with every result Real Madrid has fathomed from the first three games. He leads the league in assists with three to his name.

Next. Real Madrid didn’t sign Kylian Mbappe, but their failure will not be in vain. dark

His goal contributions aside, Benzema is doing what he always does. He is linking everything up for Real Madrid, calling players into action, and helping the youngsters make a mark for themselves. Benzema is a true servant to the club and as the season progresses, he would be a prime candidate to win the Pichichi or even the POTY in the league. We’ll see.
