Real Madrid signed David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga in the summer transfer window and the prospect of winter activity in January is not ruled out.

Although Florentino Perez is not a president who has spent big sums of money in the midseason transfer market, the 73 year old is very much under pressure to rebuild his squad. Real Madrid failed to sign their main man Kylian Mbappe this summer despite their best efforts and so, they may be active in January too with the mammoth amount of money which they have collected.

In addition to that, Carlo Ancelotti will also get a good look of his squad which is much different from the Italian coach’s first tenure and has lost out on some key players like Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane. Two wins and a draw in La Liga so far have not asked many questions of the squad, but three more months until another transfer window opens mean there may be activity.

Finally, the club will also have earned a decent amount of money by January besides the 200 odd million euros they have saved over the last two years. Fans are set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu following the international break and also, the club will get a few million euros by clearing a relatively manageable Champions League group.

Which three players are worth considering for the January transfer window?
