Miguel Gutierrez:

Miguel Gutierrez is a promising left-back. He has had a fairly great season with the Castilla. He is one of the players that flourished well under Raul. The previous article that I earlier wrote on him told us about his capabilities and the talent that he possesses and the reason as to why he should be promoted to the first team, along with some explanation to why will he succeed at the Left Back position for Real Madrid.

Miguel is obviously one of the players who have a bright future at the club. His moments of brilliance in the final stages of La Liga truly deserved a round of applause. Surely each one of us was prepared to watch him play with the first team, representing Real Madrid at a higher level this season.

But ever since the reports came about the signing of David Alaba and that of Marcelo staying in the Spanish capital, his future has become a little difficult to predict. David Alaba is very versatile- he plays well at both the Left Back and the Center Back positions but will mostly play at the central position given the lack of depth over there.

Marcelo plays at the Left Back and the Left Mid positions, but because of more attacking threats, he might play an attacking role. With Ferland Mendy already an obvious choice at the Left Back position, there is a possibility of playing a backup role at the position.

But such a thing could only have been possible if he could impress Ancelotti which he has done and that earned Miguel a start against Real Betis, and he didn’t disappoint one bit. He was excellent against the team from Seville and was actually one of the best performers on either team.

So, I think, he’ll be the only Castilla player who will feature regularly

Verdict – Miguel will play regularly for Real Madrid
