Erling Haaland is a big name in football already. He’s scoring goals whenever he feels like, and it just seems that year after year, month after month, game after game, he’s just improving at an alarming rate. That obviously has made top clubs like Real Madrid, PSG and others very interested in the Norwegian scorer.

Real Madrid are going to have a big summer in 2022. They’re going to potentially sign some superstars so that they’re able to transition from the old guard to the new boys smoothly. Obviously, Kylian Mbappe is the most important and likely option out of everyone, since his dream is to play for Real Madrid.

They couldn’t have it materialized this season because of PSG’s reluctance to even respond to Real’s offer. So, Mbappe will likely join Los Blancos as a free agent next summer. Apart from him, the club needs to sign a midfielder since Toni Kroos and Luka Modric aren’t getting any younger. They also need a centre-back because there is a serious lack of quality there, when you compare it to the rest of the squad.

Of course, we can’t assume that every single player will be signed, and every single position will be reinforced in one summer, but if there’s any club that can do it, it’s Real Madrid. That makes Haaland a real possibility as well. Karim Benzema is 33 years old now, and he won’t be around for much longer. Securing Kylian Mbappe and Haaland would sort the team’s attack out for the foreseeable future.
