LUKA JOVIC COULD WANT TO LEAVE REAL MADRID IN JANUARY

While Carlo Ancelotti has shown faith and confidence in Luka Jovic, the Serbian international is yet to start a game under the Italian. Jovic has been coming off the bench on most fixtures and has been making a decent impact on the game.

In yesterday’s loss to Espanyol, Ancelotti introduced Jovic into the game early but there was not much supply into the box for the 23-year-old. Nonetheless, he still managed to get an assist after Karim Benzema rounded off the backline to score a spectacular goal.

Just an observation, whenever Benzema and Jovic have been paired together under Ancelotti we’ve always seen a goal or a couple of good chances. Maybe it’s time for Carlo Ancelotti to consider playing the two strikers together.

Nonetheless, coming back to Luka Jovic wanting to leave. Yes, he has the manager’s confidence and trust, but a player like Jovic needs more minutes under his belt to grow given the potential he has in him.

The 23-year-old is also aware that his future at the club looks uncertain with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland on the radar for next summer. Given the circumstances, Luka Jovic could consider leaving Real Madrid in the winter in search of more game time and a more prominent role.
