PSG WILL SURELY BE CONCERNED WITH SOME MONEY THAN NOTHING

Paris Saint-Germain could lose Kylian Mbappe for free six months later and the Frenchman could potentially agree to a pre-contract with Los Merengues prior to the end of the ongoing season itself. That is the last thing that Paris Saint-Germain would want and in truth, that may be the last thing even Mbappe would want as it could totally ruin his relationship with the club of his home city.

Real Madrid have consistently ruled out major signings in January but Mbappe’s case has been handled as if it were exceptional for years now, and so, the Whites may be fine with spending close to 75 to 100 million euros for the French international. For PSG also, something is better than nothing and it may even save them from a bit of criticism over the Financial Fair Play rulings.

Moreover, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Leonardo clearly care a lot about reputation and it will be a fall flat on their faces if Mbappe does not agree to a contract renewal and leaves for free in June. They will ultimately be made to look like the guilty party and swallow all their words of pride over Mbappe staying and the accusations of disrespect which they have made against Real Madrid.
