Real Madrid Transfers: 3 alternatives if Kylian Mbappe renews with PSG

Real Madrid have worked extremely hard over the last two years to sign Kylian Mbappe by maintaining a strong financial position amid several sales.

Los Blancos were within touching distance of signing the French international during the summer, but Paris Saint-Germain remained unmoved despite the Whites’ willingness to pay close to 200 million euros for Mbappe’s services. Moreover, Mbappe also insisted that he wanted to leave the club during the summer and if it were to happen, it would only be for Real Madrid.

Next summer, he is set to be a free agent if the contract situation with PSG isn’t resolved and from January itself, Mbappe is allowed to agree to a pre-contract with any other club outside of France. Real Madrid will surely try their best from the winter itself to close out Mbappe’s deal which is more than long-awaited. However, if the forward inclines towards PSG’s money, then there’s little Florentino Perez can do to compete.

For such a big player, it is important to also consider that money can be a defining factor and although Real Madrid are in a comfortable position in that regard right now, the likes of Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain are too rich to compete with if money matters to Mbappe.
