Real Madrid Transfers: 3 alternatives if Kylian Mbappe renews with PSG

MOHAMED SALAH
Ever since his explosive start at Liverpool in the 2017/18 season, Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, although never concretely. He is edging towards the expiry of his contract at Anfield and the most recent talk is that he has asked for a bumper deal, worth 400,000 pounds of wages per week- something which Liverpool may not prefer paying a 28-year-old player.
In addition to that, Salah has won the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, both, with Liverpool, in addition to all the individual awards up for grab in England. The Egyptian could prefer to try out a new challenge before calling it a day on his career and there would be no better place than Real Madrid to ply his trade for three or four years, given that the club does need a right-winger.
If Mbappe arrives, as is looking likely with every passing day, the French forward will have to play on the right-wing too, at least in his initial days at the Bernabeu. Salah is an out and outright winger too and is also a regular goal-scorer- which is another criterion Madrid are looking to fulfil. It will be interesting to see if Salah’s age is something the board considers, but he is a very good alternative.
