Five reasons why Real Madrid will win La Liga in 2021-2022
Winning Mentality
Regardless of where Real Madrid is in terms of competitiveness or transition, one thing always remains the same: This is a place where winning is everything.
In recent years, other clubs have become financially stronger than Real Madrid such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, and most recently, Newcastle United. However, they have never replaced Real Madrid in terms of stature and if we are to be completely honest, they never will.
The club breeds winners and success. They have always placed importance on being the club to go to for almost any footballer. We can even see it now with Kylian Mbappe refusing to become the highest-paid player in the world at PSG so that he can join the Spanish club. Money can always come and go but reputation is permanent. That’s why even with all the recent problems at the club due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Real Madrid still stands high and aims for success in the short and long term.
The players at the club know that taking your foot off the pedal is never an option and the newcomers know that they’re as good as their most recent performances at the club especially with the demands of a very critical fanbase. That mentality drives Real Madrid forward and we have seen it this season as the players were whistled during their 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano because they took things a little easy when they were two goals ahead. With all the criticism of the Real Madrid fans, one thing that is certain is the players will go above and beyond not to endure the wrath from the stands.
