LW Vinicius Junior

Thibaut Courtois and Luka Modric are world-class players with years of experience who have played in major finals. And now Vinicius Junior is staking his claim as a true world-class superstar in the 2021-2022 campaign.

It has all come together for the young Brazilian winger, who has found the back of the net seven times already in La Liga. You wouldn’t put it past him to triple that scoring tally by the time the season ends, as he has only seemed to get stronger with each passing week.

Vinicius will be the most decisive player on Sunday at Los Carmenes. There is simply nobody on Granada who can hang with the 21-year-old. I am not even sure if there is anyone who can hang with Vinicius on this planet. The man rainbow-flicked Argentina over the “break” like it was nothing. And if you want a statistic, Vinicius is averaging three dribbles completed per game in the league thus far.

Former Atletico Madrid man Santiago Arias presents a potentially interesting matchup for Vinicius on the right side of the Granada defense, but I don’t even think he stands a chance against the electrifying ex-Flamengo man. The world is at Vini’s fingertips, and after carrying this team to wins over Shakhtar Donetsk and Elche, Vini could very well bag another brace of goals, assists, or even both against a struggling Granada side that may not have any answers for football’s most-improved player.
